For those seeking an unusual activity, a cave swim and trek this Sunday should fit the bill.
The event, organised by Experience, Adventure and More, kicks off at 8.30am from the Ħaġar Qim car park where a short 30-minute walk past thousands of years of history will lead down to the coast, passing the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples and the De Redin Ħamrija Tower on the way.
An easy traverse of some metres on a rock face close to the water’s surface will then lead to a huge, beautiful, cool cave where time for swimming will be allocated, with panoramic views of Filfla and beyond.
The return back be along the same route.
The level of this activity is classified as moderate. Participants are required to bring with them plenty of water, a cap, sunscreen, good trainers and swimwear. For more information, please look up Experience: Adventures and More on Facebook.
