The Saint Venera Choir is putting up a concert entitled Pop Goes Spiritual today at 9pm. Taking place on the church parvis in Santa Venera, the repertoire this year consists of songs which have a Gospel or spiritual theme and which were big hits in the UK or US charts. Songs by Michael Bolton, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, The Seekers, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Boney M and Westlife among others will be performed.
The Saint Venera Choir is directed by Joe Tanti.
