CASSAR. On July 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWARD, widower of Doris, of Cospicua and residing in St Julian’s, ex-recorder Malta Drydocks, aged 80, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by his daughters Edith and her husband Norman Grech, Audrey Grant, and his beloved granddaughters Beverly and Emma Maria, his sisters Concetta and her husband Henry Saccasan, Jessie, widow of Alfred Farrugia, his brother Alex and his wife Antoinette, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, August 1, at 7.45am, for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception collegiate church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.
