Jazz Do is back in Gozo

The fourth edition of Jazz Do will be held at Mġarr, on Saturday. Taking to the stage this year are: the Elata Quartet featuring Luke Briffa (drums), Dean Montanaro (bass), Karl Galea (guitar), and Angela Vella Zarb (vocals); the Vinny Vella Jr Trio composed of Vinny Vella Jr (piano), Joe Micallef (drums), Anthony Saliba (bass) and special guest, Andreana Debattista (vocals); and the Dominic Galea Quartet with Dominic Galea (piano), Sammy Murgo (alto sax), Mario Aquilina (bass) and Noel Grech (drums). The audience is in for an evening of the finest jazz the islands can offer in the picturesque setting of Gozo’s harbour, also a quaint village by the sea. The concert is being staged at Il-Pjazzetta and starts at 8.30pm. Entrance is free of charge. The event is held in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo, the Malta Tourism Authority, the Gozo Culture and Information Office and Arts Council Malta.
