Rock concert in the midst of Malta’s own forest

Fans of rock music are in for a treat amid a feast of some classic, modern and contemporary hits during Rock in the Forest V being held on Friday, August 26, at Chateau Buskett. The concert will feature hits from bands like Coldplay, Aerosmith, Prince, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Queen, Muse, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Kiss, Rihanna and many more. Now in its fifth edition, Rock in the Forest will see beloved local talent taking to the stage, including guest singer Ivan Filletti and guitarist David Cassar Torreggiani for the first time, alongside Gianni Zammit, ex Cruz vocalist Marilyn Mifsud, Georgius Mifsud from Shades of Green, and Simaria Galea who all participated in previous editions of the event. Some surprise appearances are also in store. Popular band Corkskrew will once again reunite for the concert following last year’s appearance at Rock in the Forest, with singer Diane Micallef, bassist Cliff Smith and drummer Franco Aloisio performing some of their tracks together with the core band.
