- A dog walk is being held today at 2.30pm at The Island Sanctuary, Tas-Silġ Marsaxlokk. Each participant will be eligible to take part in a Facebook photo competition with prizes. Refreshments will be served after the walk and treats given to the dogs. A bazaar will be open from 1 to 5pm. For more information, visit the Island Sanctuary Facebook page.
- A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for religious vocations will be held on Saturday, at Fleur de Lys parish church. It starts at 9pm with Mass, followed by adoration till 11pm. This prayer meeting is held in different churches in Malta every month.
- Alessandro Arseni will be the guest speaker at the next Philatelic Society monthly meeting to the held on Wednesday at 6pm at the Capucchin Friary in Floriana. Mr Arseni, one of Europe’s experts on maritime mail, will give a lecture on the maritime mail between Malta and Italy. Members are urged to attend this meeting and guests are also invited.
