Ex-RMA servicemen, old friends to meet up

It has been over 50 years since Maltese soldiers enlisted in the Royal Malta Artillery had served in Germany as soldiers of the British army serving in the Rhine. Most of them were in their teens then and now are entering into their 70s. Former RMA commanding officer, who was then Major Maurice Calleja and is now retired as a Brigadier, recently met ex-RMA servicemen, as well as family members and friends. Those who had served in Germany who would like to meet up, have a chat and a drink or have any photos or memorabilia to share, are welcome to attend the next meeting on Wednesday at 11 am at the Seabank Hotel, Mellieħa.
