Sicily beckons the winner of a new word game series, which kicked off yesterday. Virtù Ferries is offering two return passenger catamaran tickets valid until December. The prize includes fuel and port service charges.
Virtù Ferries bring over 45,000 Sicilian tourists to Malta each year, in addition to another 5,000 Europeans holidaying in Sicily. With a daily scheduled high-speed car and passenger ferry service between Malta and Sicily, a crossing time of 90 minutes, over 500 round trips yearly and a designated terminal in Valletta, it is little wonder that commercial entities are increasingly making use of this service.
The six winning words of the last word game were vermilion, haversack, footplate, mercurial, pompadour and boardroom.
The new game ends on September 10, with entries having to be submitted by September 16.
